How was the computer used in history? I need some info on how the computer was used in history, not history OF the computer (which is what i am finding... i.e.- what applications was it used for in world war 1?) I just need some sources for a paper, so any books or websites would help. Computers didn't exist at all until the 1940s so played no part at all in WWI and very little in WWII (although computer typoe equipment was used at Bletchley to help break the German Enigma machine codes)
