Compact Combo

DVD-RW discs not working in disk drive? I have bought DVD-RW disc from tesco they have 4.7gb 4x speed on them. I also have the TSSTcorp CDW/DVD SH-M522C driver. it says on the front that it is a DVD Multiplayer, RW combo, compact disk RW ultra speed disk tray. However when i put one of the disks into it it doesn't detect it and i can't work out why? could it be setting on the computer? if i put CD-R disks in it detecs them???
